"We came to have fun, but we didn't come to play" was a sentiment echoed by many of my new and old culinary friends as we particpated in the prestigious Charleston Wine and Food Festival. We were all there to represent DIASPORIC cuisine and boy wasn't it an amazing college of black chefs.
